Traditional Swordsmiths Pt2: The Workshop

Handles are scored before the inlay is applied
Gold wire is pressed into channels in the handle

The blades are finished with a range of materials; timber and camel bone handles for the knives destined to be used as tools, and steel inlayed with gold and silver threads forming dazzling patterns and imagery on ceremonial daggers and swords. Despite being made for ceremonial use, the blades are all sold razor-sharp.
